Brick and Paint

Found this peeling paint on a brick wall a couple of days ago in a hidden corner of a car park.

I love the contrast and the colours but it wasn't until I was walking away that the similarity with a world map struck me. With a bit of cleaning up and some trickery in Gimp this could be made into a great map. I'll put it into the 'to do' pile.

The Taunton Daily Tune is Goldfrapp with Strict Machine - great retro electronica!

Contrast is always a good photographic technique. But imagination is the best. I certainly did not see a map of the world until you pointed it out. But it is there!

Hey I am not saying its geographically accurate... just that it could be 'a' world map... ;)

As for the tunes it's just done on a Mac with iWeb, not sure it's technically difficult to do. Mail me if you want to chat about it.

It has been suggested tht I should embed the tune into the blog but I reckon most people don't want someone elses music invading their rooms!
