North Street II

Another quickie,
This is the front of North Street Congregational church, I have never seen it free of people or cars so I have not been able to get a better shot, people seem to congregate around it, maybe in summer...

I like the clean symmetry of this photo.

if i may pass a constructively critical comment...

too much sky and too many shadows on the lower part of the building. These two issues combine to make the upper part of the building somewhat over-exposed.
I'd be inclined to crop in very tight on the upper part of the building against that sky, or work out when you can capture it without the very harsh shadow line

the previous image (of the alleyway) is so much better technically that I can only assume that you rushed this one?

Nonny,
This blog is about the town as much as the photography. i think you are dead right about the photo but to be honest I just wanted to 'snap' the church.
I am a beginner, i hope the photos will improve as I gain experience.
Thanks for the comment. M

This photo is interesting! The combination of the light and the shadow attract my attention.
