Had a quick walk around French Weir today - no Kingfishers around, far too many schoolkids on bikes but I'll catch one of the little blighters on film one day!

Much better than the flower macros, JUST KIDDING! LOL!
Although one can never have enough close-ups...always nice to see interesting details...but snaps like this where you can take in a much larger (yet still visually captivating-look at that cascading water!!!) view really hold the viewers attention as well!
And cool, a kingfisher video would be NEATO! You definitely need one!
Wonder how hard it would be to add a video clip to a blog...I've seen it done but haven't a CLUE how to do it!
