Park and Ride

This is an AEC Regent made sometime between 1929 and when they gave up the ghost in 1968.

It is looked after by Quantock Motor Services who hire them out but at the moment it is being used as the shoppers park and ride.

What a cute "Thomas-the-Tank-Engine-y" double-decker bus MB! Or maybe it's more Harry Potterish? No...hmmmm...maybe it's just....cute! :-) Great shot!

Hey Kaa, Red is London, where I grew up in Greater Manchester they are orange.

The livery depends on the operator, just like the trains.

Ame, TtT indeed! Oh the HP bus, (Night Bus?) is cool - faster than these dinosaurs though!

Hi Mountainboy, I like the green of the bus. It's my favorite color. Love looking at your photos. Good luck with your auction!

This one was made in 1965, just a few years before old-style buses stopped being built.
Colours? A bit like Bassetts Allsorts, they came in red, green, orange, yellow and blue depending on which part of the country you were in. Today's liveries are so boring!
