The Brick Tree!



Just behind the Scout centre on the river this isolated and gnarled old tree caught me eye.

Its nothing special to look at, but then....

You see hidden away IN the wood lots of bricks, there must have been a substantial wall there before the park swallowed up gardens.

Looks more like my idea of an ent from Lord Of The Rings than the more spib\ndly ones conceived for the movie!

Or maybe it's The Magic Faraway Tree?
