Old Pigs


I don't think they used to sell old pigs...

This market ran from 1614 to 1882, I have no idea where they sold their pigs after that date, I have never seen pigs being sold at the cattle market although you do see sheep there!

Pig, cow and sheep markets existed here where I live. Or farmers took their livestock there to sell. Most were butchered within hours. If you have never seen an animal butchered you should go see one. Some people become instant vegetarians.
