I also suspect this is a police department because of the blu but if I had to take another guess because this was taken, I'd say it was a telephone emergency booth

Spot on with the police, the blue lamp is a traditional sign for police stations.
Would prefer it to be a bar though! ;)

Hey MB! I was gonna say police too...but only cuz I've had a few run-ins with one in particular lately! Hmmmmmmmmmm! ;-) Naaaaaaaaah, just being silly! I figured (like here in the States, where police lights are blue) this was the same in the UK! =) On the other hand, it would be a nice color for a bar light too but it might need some purple, pink and a little neon lime green! LOL!
